A34 is a 468-unit mixed-use, mixed-income multifamily development consisting of affordable, workforce, and market rate apartments, 16,000 square feet of community-serving retail, and more than 40,000 square feet of private open space and more than 60,000 square feet public open space. Positioned on a +/- five-acre site within an Opportunity Zone in the vibrant neighborhood of Lincoln Heights, one of the oldest neighborhoods in LA. A34 is located just two miles from the center of Downtown LA and a short walk to two light rail stops connecting Downtown with Pasadena, and cities east. The development is being financed with tax credits, tax exempt bonds, and equity. The Pinyon Group acquired, entitled, and are constructing the development in a joint-venture with a family office partner. Construction commenced in Q2 2022, and completed in Q1 2025. Sean Buran oversaw the project as Construction Manager.
